This article is about a girl name Shannon Smith. She is 23 years old and from Mission Viejo, California. She is a Aquaculture Technician. Her work basics that she has to make sure that fish, octopuses, sharks, and other aquatic animals thriveand breed in captivity. Her skills help her get a job as a Aquaculture Technician in Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California. She id like a maintence and she order the supplies , cleans, and checks the animals for any disease and if they are sick with anything. She also spoke with the tourists at the state beach about her job and its enviornmental aspects. The job that she is at allows her to get to know that animals personally with educating the public about enviornmentalism and the ecosystem. Shannon is interested in marine life began at an early age with an admiration for renowned ecologist Jacques Cousteau. She checks that water conditions and chemical levels. In case, she could perform a necropsy to learn how and why an animal died.
With aout 70 percent of earth covered in oceans, the job opportunities are numerous. Students can work for certificates in aquaculture. The income levels warywith the specific job and the applicant’s experience. Generally start in the $14,000 to $29,000 in ranges.
Shannon injoys her work and loves the animals that she works with. She trys to encourages the students that are interested in the job. She tells them that the animals are friendly and you well love them. You are always going to get wet in this job though. You have to wear the right clothing the right shoe. If you wear cheap shoes and its 8 hour aday of work it well feel like an 16 hour day of work. But she injoys the work that she is in.
